Volunteer with ROSE

*ROSE Afterschool Program: Volunteering with the ROSE Afterschool Program is your chance to make a difference in the lives of youth, while building a positive and encouraging relationship with students. Serving children from K – 12th grade, ROSE is committed to helping youth succeed in school. Afterschool program sites are run by the ROSE Resident Assets Coordinators. 

*ROSE Community Gardens: Want to share your love for gardening? Help with our community gardens! This could include mentorship opportunities, garden set-up or clean-up days, or leading a youth gardening program. Opportunities available in Spring and Summer at various locations. (2-4 hours per week)

*Club RC: Help coach youth soccer! Make an impact in the lives of kids by teaching them new skills and leading team practices. Practices occur during Spring, Summer, and Fall, on Monday and Friday evenings at Glenwood Park at SE 89th and Cooper. (2-6 hours per week)

*Share your skills: Lead a camp or special activity (Summer), Use your photography skills to capture family photos (Winter), Fix Bicycles at a ROSE CDC Bike Repair Day (Spring), or approach us about sharing another skill you have! (2-8 hours per week)

*Summer opportunities: Volunteer with our Free Summer Programs, help serve Free Summer Lunch, or Support the Lents Youth Initiative projects. (2-10 hours per week)

*Communications & Events: Data entry, social media content creation, and event planning opportunities are available if you are looking to support ROSE, or gain new skills on donor database platforms or hosting events on the professional or community level.
