About ROSE
ROSE builds affordable homes and community to make outer southeast neighborhoods strong and equitable.
ROSE CDC offers neighborhood-based solutions to deeply entrenched social problems by building housing and community. We are an asset-based community development organization. This means we build on our community’s existing strengths and assets.
We believe everyone has a right to an affordable home. For renters, that means being able to afford the monthly rent and still have money left to pay for food, transportation, utilities, and saving for long-term goals.
We offer well-constructed, well-managed homes at rents that fit within a family’s budget. These include homes in multi-family apartment communities; duplexes, and single-family homes. Many of our properties have special accommodation features for seniors and people living with disabilities.
From babies to seniors, we offer engaging programs and valuable resources to our residents. Our programs are resident-driven because we believe that people are experts of their own experience and the best generators of solutions.
Resident-centered programming builds social capital, decreases isolation, and supports resident leadership and power.
